Environmentally-Extended Input-Output Model of Taiwan, China (TWEEIO)

Version

TWEEIO (v1.0)

  • focuses on GHG emissions, with results expressed in MT CO2e per million US dollar

  • reflects the economic and environmental conditions of year 2016

  • covers 164 sectors

Data sources

Two main data sources were used to develop THEEIO:

  • an Input-Output table, provided by Taiwan's National Statistics

  • a GHG inventory, provided by Taiwan's Environmental Protection Administration

Additional information

There is an expanded version that dis-aggregated the electronic sector into several subsectors — like semiconductors, computers, and computer storage — based on South Korea's EEIO model. You may also request this expanded model if interested.
